LabVIEW, Simulink, T:System.Windows.VisualState, among the most popular, but to the market have been launched new competitors as the new Matrix Multimedia Flowcode.

If you are a designer of electronic systems engineer the question ever could have crossed your mind to start a project was: "which graphical development software should I choose?" and the options at hand gave rise to dilemmas type advantages and technical resources offered by providers to simplify the work.

The reality is that if we stop to repair what kind of software used for our project, this could become a risky action, as it would input if you are already familiar with some program interfere in a commercial Studio we take time and regularly is not enough information from the provider in your data sheet. The ideal is to manipulate it one in the flesh and it assess whether the program meets our needs.

But the date industry in this segment has become even more competitive for software vendors of electronic development under a graphical environment.

The most popular and known in the global industry programs include National Instruments LabVIEW; Simulink of Mathworks and IAR Systems T:System.Windows.VisualState, however other companies has decided to create their own tools and launch aggressive sector as competitive as it is the case of the new version of the software released by the Matrix media company under the name of Flowcode, a software aimed at the development of electronic circuits and systems programming.

While it is true that the main objectives that attract users of such software include a simple interface, simplifying tasks using Automation, cost, multi-platform compatibility and a trouble-free training instruments, other factors that can affect the decision of the buyer in the election are also important.

Software comparison

Each of the programs covered with specific needs for the development of electronic systems. For example, according to the data sheet of LabVIEW in the company National Instruments and also in base with the experience of poured in different forums of public opinion in the network, this platform has a friendly interface, and new features that help the user reduce the work cycles are added in each version that is released by the manufacturer.

The LabVIEW is used primarily as a software interface for recognition and external hardware such as a graphical object-oriented programming language allowing design systems complex in a simple way.

Its main areas of operation are based on a method of data acquisition and the interconnection of hardware, and with these basic elements, the system can carry out different activities graphically.

For some, the improvements of this platform has been mainly in the part of compatibility to run with other operating systems or versions of the same, as it was the case with Windows Vista, which required extensions that were subsequently adhering as plugins which could be run without problems versions of LabVIEW.

For Matlab Simulink, has somewhat different to the LabVIEW features, preferably the community of engineers uses for the design of control systems, but even in graphics mode, the LabVIEW offers even more functionality in the use of blocks.
